Title: Chaos Unleashed

Reason for stopping: Not quite sure where the scene is heading.
Wordage I liked: She felt her cheeks grow warm. "It might help if I actually knew how to knit," she muttered.

I had a ride home Friday night, so tried to write at Starbucks. I'd forgotten how loud and crowded that place is, especially so close to the end of summer. The bulk of the words were written tonight. I'm hoping the coming week sees more words.

Title: Chaos Unleashed

Reason for stopping: The scene was a struggle but I think it's done.
Wordage I liked: His heart pound as he remembered the night she had returned from the spirit realm to discuss their future, as he remembered what he had said. He closed his eyes and prayed for the strength to say it again.
Things discovered: Emotions are just so much fun.

I used some of my overtime to leave work early today. A good trade-off, I think. The word count above reflects editing the final paragraphs from the last writing session as well as today's new words. Some of it was like pulling teeth but they are finally out and into the file.

Reason for stopping: Coffee was gone & it was getting late.
Wordage I liked: Anden was pushing past Ayrmid before the echo of the crash from within the cottage died away. Birte braced herself with one hand on the dry sink, the pieces of the teapot surrounding her feet.
"Why didn't you ask for help?" he blurted.
Birte turned to him, grey eyes flashing. "You have helped enough tonight."
Things discovered: Hormones and anger are a bad combination.

I decided to have an early dinner (yummy smoked salmon sandwich) at the coffee shop so I could keep writing. There could have been more words but I need to determine just how angry my two characters are.
